King of PentaclesWe are motivated by a need for independence and financial fulfillment. We focus on our careers, tend to be over-achievers and are very goal orientated –all of which hinders our ability to focus on family, friends and relationships.

The King of Wands represents a state of mind in which we want to succeed and achieve independence. In the defined period we need to be in a state-of-mind where we know our goals and focus our efforts on achieving them.

However, the end does not justify the means so we need to be extra careful of our inclination to sacrifice important areas of life, mainly family and relationships. We also need to be aware of our tendency to adapt ourselves to society and act according to what others expect of us -which is not always what we want to do.

Queen of PentaclesWe are motivated by simplicity, security and stability in all areas of life -especially the material world. We do not take chances and avoid changes -hence we tend to stick with the familiar.

The Queen of Coins represents a state of mind in which we seek material stability and focus on building strong foundations in all areas of life. In the defined period we need to be guided by simplicity and practicality. We should not be concerned by working too hard. To get the results we want in a particular area of life we can allow ourselves to sacrifice other areas.

At the same time the card indicates we have a tendency to be over materialistic. We are so afraid to lose what we have that we can become very stingy in our giving. We also rarely share our emotions with our loved ones.

We have to listen to our gut and learn to flow with life. We need to be aware of our fear of losing what we have yet at the same time accept change as an inseparable part of life. If we embrace change we can use it as leverage to progress in life.

After a thorough examination of our lives we understand what is right for us, locate it in our environment and advance to the next stage of its implementation.

Ace of PentaclesThe Ace of Wands represents our most basic needs such as home and family, work, food and shelter. The card is very down-to-earth and is directly connected to our inner truth. It also helps us discern between that which is truly right for us and our burning desires. The Ace of Wands does not indicate new beginnings but rather highlights events and processes in our lives that have ripened and are now ready to be promoted to the next stage.

The card indicates that we are in a state of mind in which we understand what is right for us and therefore perform the transformation from fire to earth: from wishes and desires to actions and implementations. The Ace of Wands deals with stability, self-fulfillment, and the simpler things in life. We find ourselves in a state of mind in which we have a strong desire to plant roots, settle down, and create stability, continuity and security in our lives.

Yet we also need to be patient and understand that every process takes time. Traits such as honesty, simplicity and self expression are paramount for the successful completion of our journey. We have to be in touch with our inner truth since only we know what is right for us. It is important to note that during this journey we must not be influenced by the wishes and desires of others -nor by our own.
